Serve up a batch of New Year's Eve celebration punch - kids and adults alike will love this fruity non-alcoholic punch! Made with ginger ale, pineapple juice, and white grape juice, this light punch is perfect for your next celebration.

A glass of gold punch surrounded by gold star confetti and a punch bowl.

This celebration punch is the perfect beverage to ring the new year or celebrate at your next event. Light, fruity, and a little bubbly, it's refreshing and non-alcoholic, so it can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.

Ginger ale gives this punch a bubbly, spiced flavor, and pairs well fruity white grape juice and pineapple juice. This fruity punch has a pale golden hue and looks lovely served in stemless wine glasses or champagne flutes.

New Year's Eve, weddings, baby showers, and birthdays are all perfect occasions for this celebration punch. For adults, add a splash of rum or vodka to each glass before topping with punch.

    Ingredients and substitutions

    Ingredients on a counter top.

Ginger ale - I love the addition of ginger ale in punch recipes. It adds a light ginger-citrus flavor and a bit of carbonation. If you prefer, you can substitute with lemon-lime soda like Sprite.

White grape juice - can be substituted with sparkling white grape juice for extra carbonation.

Pineapple juice - Pineapple is the most prominent flavor in this punch, and I don't recommend substituting it. However, orange juice is a decent substitution if needed. Keep in mind this will change the color and flavor of your punch.

How much punch to serve at a party

How much punch will you need for your party? Here is a helpful article: How to Calculate Punch for a Party.

For a shorter event serving only cake, you may need as little as 4 to 8 ounces of punch per person.

For an event lasting several hours with appetizers and mingling, you may need up to 12 ounces of punch per person.

    How to keep punch cold

So you're serving your punch in a punch bowl. How do you keep it cold?

If you'd like to add ice to your punch bowl, I'd recommend adding just a few large ice cubes. A bunch of small ice cubes will melt quickly and dilute your punch.

These large ice cube trays on Amazon could make a great addition to a punch bowl.

If you have a bundt cake pan on hand, fill it partially with water and freeze. This will make one large ice cube ring - the perfect size for a punch bowl.

Or, serve your punch alongside a bucket of ice. Guests can add ice to their glasses as they serve themselves.
