S'mores bark is a sweet, crunchy, and chocolatey candy treat. Reminiscent of the classic campfire treat, this no-bake dessert is made with white chocolate, golden grahams cereal, and mini marshmallows.
Choose a baking sheet that will fit into your refrigerator and line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a plastic bag, add 1 cup of golden grahams cereal and crush into small pieces. Set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add white chocolate melting wafers and microwave in 30 second increments, stirring until melted. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler on the stove top.
Add crushed golden grahams and gently stir to incorporate.
Pour white chocolate mixture onto your parchment lined baking sheet. Using a spatula, spread to about ¼ inch thickness to create a 10 to 12 inch oval.
While chocolate is still wet, sprinkle your remaining golden grahams cereal and marshmallows evenly on top. Gently tap baking sheet on the counter to help your toppings sink into the melted chocolate.
In a glass bowl, microwave dark chocolate melting wafers in 30 second increments, stirring until melted. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler on the stove top. Use a spoon to drizzle milk chocolate evenly across the bark.
Transfer baking sheet to the refrigerator or freezer to harden for about 10-15 minutes. Break into pieces and store in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
Storage: Candy bark will keep at room temperature for about 2 weeks in a tightly sealed container.
Can I use chocolate chips?: I do not recommend substituting melting wafers with chocolate chips. Meting wafers are tempered and meant for melting and at-home candy making. Chocolate chips are meant to hold their shape and solidify with a dull, soft texture instead of the candy "snap" you achieve with melting wafers.
Golden grahams alternatives: Golden grahams can be substituted with crushed graham cracker pieces or cookies if desired.
