Fresh Grapefruit Margarita

Freshly squeezed juice combined with tequila and triple sec creates a refreshing and light summertime margarita. Serve in salt rimmed glasses with lime wedges

  • 3 ounces grapefruit juice freshly squeezed, about 1/2 a grapefruit
  • 1 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed, about 1 lime
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 3/4 ounce triple sec
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup to taste


  • Optional, if you'd like salt rimmed glasses. Pour a thin layer of kosher salt into a shallow bowl. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and dip into salt to coat. Set aside.
  • Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake until combined. Taste, and add more simple syrup as needed.
  • Fill glasses with ice. Pour margarita over ice and serve immediately. Garnish with lime or grapefruit wedge as desired.
