Strawberry Rosé Slush is a simple, 3 ingredient alcoholic drink recipe. All you need is a bag of frozen strawberries, Rosé, and ice to make this refreshing summer treat.
The drink of summer is definitely the fruit and wine slushie. I had to try it out for myself, so today I am sharing with you my Strawberry rosé slush.
You will love this recipe because it is simple and only requires three ingredients. Plus, it's ready in just 5 minutes, so you'll be sipping on slushies in no time.
Using frozen strawberries gives this slushy drink a bright and fresh fruit flavor, and pairs perfectly with your favorite bottle of Rosé.
Serve for a special occasion like Valentine's Day, or while sitting poolside in the summer.
Ingredients
You'll need:
- One 750 ml bottle of Rosé (or any favorite wine)
- Frozen strawberries
- Ice
If you can't find frozen sliced strawberries, try using other frozen fruits like mixed berries or peaches.
Using fresh strawberries
If you can't find frozen strawberries, but have fresh strawberries on hand, you're welcome to use these instead.
Simply clean and slice your strawberries (halves or quarters are fine), then place them in a thin layer on a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze for two hours, then store them in a freezer bag until ready to use.
Which wine is best?
For this recipe, I picked out a bottle of rosé. With delicate notes of strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon, I thought it would be a great fit for my strawberry slushy.
I'd say that if you have a personal favorite, go with it. It's important that you choose a wine you enjoy on its own.
If you don't want to use a rosé, feel free to use your favorite type of wine. A moscato, riesling, or pinot grigio would all work well.
