Orange Mojito Flavored Water is a light and refreshing alternative to calorie filled sodas and sugary drinks. Ice cold water is flavored with fresh orange, lime, and muddled mint.
If you’re looking to give your water some flavor without the extra calories, you’ll love this recipe. My orange mojito flavored water is light, refreshing, and crisp. Best of all, there are no added sugars or chemicals.
Adding herbs and fruit to your water is a great way to add flavor without the extra calories. My recipe includes your favorite flavors from a classic mojito – mint and lime – with the addition of a sweet and tart orange.
Looking for an actual mojito recipe? Try my Raspberry Mojito. Made from scratch with fresh lime, raspberry, and mint.
If you’re not used to drinking flavored waters, don’t get your hopes up. They don’t exactly replace your favorite sodas. Flavored water isn’t as sweet as a classic soda, and the citrus can taste a bit tart in comparison.
Instead, flavored water is a great way to get used to drinking more water. Instead of having no taste at all, the mint and citrus add a hint of refreshing and light flavor, which makes plain water more appetizing.
Plus, if you’re actively trying to drink more water every day, this is a great way to mix it up and keep it fresh. I love drinking this flavored water on a hot summer day, or just after a workout. The mint is crisp and cooling, which is so refreshing.
Don’t forget the ice! This flavored water is best served ice cold or straight from the refrigerator.
Orange Mojito Flavored Water
- 2 quarts cold water 1 quart = 4 cups
- 1 orange sliced
- 2 limes sliced
- 16 fresh mint leaves
- In a pitcher, add mint leaves. Using a muddler or the opposite end of a wooden spoon, gently press down on the mint leaves and twist a few times. Take care not to shred the mint leaves, you're just pressing enough to release juices and flavor.
- Add orange and lime slices, then fill with water. Stir to combine.
- Allow to chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for flavors to infuse. Lasts for 2-3 days.
